Introducing VooPoo PnP X coils, available in 0.15 and 0.3ohm. These mesh-constructed coils are available in five different resistances and power outputs for mouth-to-lung (MTL), restricted-direct-lung (RDL) and direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping. Voopoo selects natural and thermal-stable cotton, which optimises the thickness and spacing of the cotton fibre to achieve a balanced e-liquid delivery and soaking speed, improving the atomisation efficiency and the overall coil lifespan for a consistent taste.

Voopoo’s extensive research of the e-liquid infiltration rate and distribution of the heating zone combined with their existing knowledge and design contributes to a restricted meshed heating wire to precisely distribute the heat during vaping without producing excessive heat and as a result, produces denser clouds with less e-liquid used. The PnP X coils are constructed with a patented 4-layer leakproof design considering and separating the airway, heating zone and air cavity in different layers to avoid e-liquid leaking through the coil.

The dual L-shape structure in the bottom keeps a balanced pressure preventing any condensation from leaking. Voopoo has introduced automatic production to the whole PnP X platform product manufacturing to produce an incredibly premium and reliable product of the highest quality. The PnP X series is a coil platform for compatibility with Drag S2, Drag X2, and PnP X pod cartridges. The VooPoo PnP X replacement coils are recommended for use with both High VG 70+ (DTL), 50/50 Freebase (MTL) and Nic Salt e-liquids.

What’s the difference between DTL and MTL?

DTL, or Direct to Lung, is a more powerful style of vaping that produces more vapour. The coils it includes have a lower resistance, and are called sub-ohm coils. They are anything under 1.0 Ohm but are usually 0.5 Ohm – the higher the number, the more resistance and the tighter the draw due to a bigger hole through the middle of the coil that the air travels through. This style of vaping is achieved by drawing the vapour straight into your lungs. It is recommended that you use an e-liquid with a higher VG content, for example 60% VG or above. This is because VG causes the liquid to be thicker, and more powerful coils will burn through thinner liquid more quickly, causing you to use much more.

MTL, or Mouth to Lung, feels more like a cigarette and is less powerful. It produces a more discrete amount of vapour. It includes coils with higher resistance, and are anything above 1.0 Ohm, giving it a tighter draw due to the smaller hole in the middle of the coil that the air travels through. This style of vaping is achieved by drawing vapour first into your mouth and then into your lungs. It is recommended that you use an e-liquid with a lower VG content, such as 50% or below. This is because lower power coils won’t be able to burn through thicker juices fast enough, causing the coil to clog up and burn more quickly.
