PG (propylene glycol) is a substance commonly used in the food industry and asthma inhalers, which produces the throat hit in e-liquid and enhances the flavour. The higher the VG percentage, the thicker the liquid, which means high VG liquid is best used in more powerful devices. This is because lower power devices can’t burn through thicker liquids and coils will burn out quicker, and higher power devices will burn through thinner liquids too quickly.
